I’ll believe it when I see it re Payton. He has been linked with cowboys for forever and in off-season past few years there’s always been rumours. But well over 60m over the cap with no QB signed is not an enticing prospect. Denis Allen probably deserves another shot at a head coaching job as does Dan Quinn if Payton does not come back.

Apparently Giants owners are a nightmare to work for and interfere in day to day running of the team and micro manage. Not sure Quinns personality would endure that but he probably saw a little bit of that with the Jones in Dallas. Whoever winds up there I hope Daniel Jones gets a good opportunity to succeed. He has tons of potential. I like Quinn from the few bits I saw of him on Hard knocks a couple of years ago and from following Saints Falcons rivalry.

Rumours of Payton to the Bears. He is a Chicago native.
He can’t just walk out on his saints contract though and the bears don’t have a first round pick to trade for him
He is contracted up to 2026. Bears would probably interest him but to get a HOF calibre head coach you’d want to be giving up a bit of capital.
I would say more chance of Brady in for a final year with Lance under his wing.

If Jimmy G reaches his 2nd superbowl it would be hard to oust him. He has made some big errors at times but its the old adage I’d rather have lucky generals than good ones… He probably has a superbowl ring if Bosa doesn’t get injured vs Chiefs.
He can also get best out of Samuel, Kittle and even feed new players like Aiyuk and Jennings.

The thing about Jimmy is the locker room love the guy, even Sherman who is a Bucc now came out to defend that fact last week. It’s like the rest of the team enjoy digging him out every week!
