Niners opt for Banks the Guard from ND. Iād predicted Asante Samuel Jr, who went one pick sooner to the Chargers. DB depth still a weaknesses for the Niner albeit they now have a prospect in Thomas from Michigan.

Fairly obvious what the new regime want to do - all players are at the top end of the athletic traits for their positions. Given how slow the defence was last year it makes plenty of sense. St Brown should be a starter day 1 and appears to be an excellent run blocker as wide receivers go which probably sealed the deal ahead of more flashier prospects.
