Iāve watched more gridiron this season than in a number of years & my impression is the Eagles arenāt playing all that great but are 9-1. Think they were as fortunate last night as they were unlucky in the Super Bowl in February.
The new co-ordinators donāt look very assured after the previous two left for head coach jobs at the end of last season. Some of the offensive play calling last night was head scratching.
Things donāt seem to be clicking on either side of the ball consistently. Obviously itās not all bad & AJ Brown has been unreal good for example.
Overall though, itās pointing towards a crash such as a divisional round defeat at home or maybe theyāll keep grinding it out & play themselves into form.

Chiefs giving up a ten point lead at the end of the third in Arrowhead is almost unheard of. They didnāt give Hurts a moments rest last night. Eagles defensive line capitulated and Chiefs were living in their backfield and still couldnāt find a way to win. Swift was the difference maker for the Eagles.
Kelce might be starting to show his age and his head isnāt entirely in it either obviously with off field distractions. Chiefs dont even have a WR2 at the minute. Watson, Hardman, Tony, Scantling, Rice are all WR3 at best. But thats what happens when you pay Chris Jones all that money. You cant pay everyone. They should have made enquiries to acquire someone like Adam Thielen before trade deadline. He has lowest drop rate amongst any receiver in NFL and would have came relatively cheap.
I think they will still have a big say but will come up short against Ravens in AFC championship game.
Rest of AFC is nothing to write home about. Some incredibly talented rosters with no QB like Browns and Steelers. Some emerging but streaky teams in Texans and Jags. Some incredible QBS but overrated rosters and bad coaches in Chargers and Bills. Bengals are done. Hard to believe the Broncos are only 2 games behind chiefs and have them on H2H. Will be interesting to see what they do the rest of the day. Coach Sean Payton working his magic.

This season has been very mid. Noticeably worse than the first season I watched just 3 years ago.
