šŸˆ Super Bowl XLVIII- The Path to Meadowlands

The Jets doing some offence recruitment. Geno Smith is a Jet and has declared heā€™s taking us to the playoffs. Izdik said we were close to taking him at #13 so I guess itā€™s no surprise we went for him at #39 when he was still available.

Took an offensive lineman with our third pick and Chris Ivory is coming on a trade for our 4th.

The Eagles have just traded up to take Matt Barkley at the start of the 4th round.

He would have gone first round in last years draft. Great signing. He hasnā€™t wasted any time updating his twitter bio either, excellent attitude.

Matt Barkley: ā€œIā€™m going to remember this weekend for a long time and so are the teams that didnā€™t draft me.ā€

Didnā€™t some rugby player make a similar move last year as well?

the Patriots got rid of their Olympic hopeful Jeff Demps (+ a 7th round pick) to the Bucs and get Legarret Blount in a trade. Great deal for someone who has never suited up in the NFL and who has said atheltics is his first choice. Huge potential, but interesting to see if he makes it. Blount by all accounts is a thick cunt and is unable to learn playbooks, so hopefully he gets some simple runs to batter through the lines and let Vereen and Ridley do the real work.

Hayden Smith was the rugby player. Heā€™s with the Jets according to WIkipedia. Any thoughts Rocko ?

Any rumours of Hard Knocks this year guys?

Iā€™d like to compliment Chip and Howie on a wonderful draft for the Eagles. I think itā€™s clear we completed the best business of all the franchises. Fly Eagles. Fly.

Tebow released by the Jets.

Rex slagging off the Patriots.

Tebow has been waived by the Jets.

What did he say?

said they have won more games in playoffs than the Patriots have since he has been head coach.

Isnā€™t that correct?

Cannot believe thatā€™s true but it isā€¦

yup, it is. both times as a wild card finishing behind the Patriots in regular season.

although you could contend that they havent qualified for the playoffs in their most recent 2 years of playing, and Patriots have got to the conference game both times. But Iā€™m sure Rex would point that out too if he had the chance.

heā€™s a great coach, and is doing some excellent work with the Jets.

So where will the resurrection occur?

Surely Jacksonville will take the chosen one now if only to boos their ticket sales for the season.

For some reason The Runt seems to have taken an interest in NFL and my posts in particular, welcome on board wee man!
