🏈 Super Bowl XLVIII- The Path to Meadowlands

Rex slagging off the Patriots. :D
Strange timing. Our 4 QB sets are going to look a little light now with Tebow off the roster. I guess we may line up with just 3 QBs in the backfield on some downs.

Was Rex Ryan the driving force behind getting Tebow to the Jets or was it Tennenbaum? It was a disastrous move and Ryan is still lucky to be in a job.

Tebow has no future as a QB in the NFL. He might be able to play as a TE or a FB, but I suspect the carnival that follows him around will put most NFL teams off signing him.

It was Tennenbaum and cost him his job, along with trading away picks for fuck all over the years.

I thought Woddy Johnson was the brainchild behind it all?

it will be tough for Tebow alright. Worst thing he did was sign for the Jets. Not sure if there was any other options for him though, but he’d have been better getting some game time with a less media riddled team and stay out of the limelight as much as possible.

I foresee a move to arena football for young timothy…

I’d like to see him hook up with Jeff Reinebold in the CFL.

Jeff is a great guy.

49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh said: “He’s just an Adonis. Just a great physical specimen of a man. Our creator created a beautiful man.”

Tebow would be a great option for fake plays, punts or fg’s, just direct snap to him and even if you don’t he could forge a career as a special teams blocker

Good point, but he could find himself cast aside due to the hype to get him on the field once the starting QB struggles at all. There’d also be clamour for him to start if they plays for special teams are working.

Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young was arrested twice in 15 hours on Sunday by southern California police, reports The Oakland Press.
Young was stopped by the Moreno Valley Police Department at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday after making an illegal left turn in front of a patrol car and arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. He was booked, received a citation and released from custody.
Just hours later, at 2:22 p.m. that day, police responded to a tow company yard where a man was seen jumping over the fence.
He was arrested for burglary after the police determined Young was trying to steal his own vehicle. He was booked again at the same detention center.
Young was a second-round draft pick by the Lions in 2011 out of Boise State and finished the last season on injured reserve with a bad knee. Young, 23, was released by the team on Feb. 4. Young was claimed off waivers later that month by the St. Louis Rams, but he cut a few days later.

Anyone want to recommend any decent NFL themed podcasts?

I’ve been listening to the draftcountdown.com draft previews and their first round review. They’re going to go through each team now individually but looking for other sources (other than my beloved Jet Nation one).

Rich Eisen does a good one.

Ex Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones is now a Philadelphia Eagle.

McNabb is to retire as an Eagle in September too

Oh and Titus Young was arrested, again. Robbing some place and then he took on the cops and gave them some too

Aaron Curry to the Gmen.

Wtf is wrong with this guy? He needs to have a read of the burn out thread posted here yesterday before it is too late…if it’s not already!

Woodson visited with the Broncos yesterday and Freeney was at the Chargers.

With San Diego and Kansas finally trying to get their acts together the AFC West might be a little, if not a lot, more competitive this year.

The Raiders will be vying with the Jags for the Number 1 pick in the 2014 draft though.
