Thereās always a great edge to Chelsea v Leeds for as long as I can remember. Tonight was same
āWe hate Chelseaā
Chopper Harris against Norman Hunter.
When football was a manās game.
Wasnāt the Chelsea Leeds FA Cup final cira 1970 labelled the dirtiest match ever played?
They have been excellent.
The father in law is a Leeds fan.
Well heās more of a ānot a Man Utdā fan. He despises them and is wonderfully biased against them in any match he watches.
And a Mayo man. The poor guy.
Robust exchanges in the replay. Think the Willies v Drumreilly late 80ās early 90ās.
Forest about to be held to a draw by Wolves. Burnley with a ridiculous come back to lead against Palace keeping them within Leeds reach.
What a game week this is turning out to be, assuming nothing changesā¦
Leeds to finish 10-12th. Brighton, Palace, West Ham, Forest and Spurs in a scrap now. Maybe Fulham too
Get through the Villa and City game and itās a very fair run in. Lots of very winnable games. Could easily finish 10th-12th alright. Only 2 games with 0 points since the City game. All those draws kept things ticking over nicely.
Leeds beat Chelsea - Enzo leaves shortly after
Leeds draw with Utd - Amorim throws a wobbler and goes
Leeds go above Spurs in table - Thomas Frank shit canned
Forest fail to close gap on Leeds - Dyche gets tossed to the side
Ah lovely
Be some craic if Nuno can keep West Ham up and send Forest down. Spurs should bring in Dyche or Ange so all the teams around Forest are managed by managers theyāve had this season!
Oh my word Anton ![]()
What was that? Just seeing the result but didnāt see any of the match.
Shame they lost. The table is so tight now that a win or two could move them right up and away from the bottom three.
Leeds didnāt lose. Finished 1-1. Anton Stach scored a free-kick.
Oh, I was sure I saw on the Guardian app that they lost 1-0. ![]()
Disastrous couple of minutes there for Leeds United. Var rules out a goal for offside, correctly. Var gives a penalty to Sunderland, correctly. Iād have caught the penalty in my cap but the Leeds keeper somehow managed to throw it into the net. If they do go down this will be the moment theyāll look back on.
Only seen one replay but looks like if Leeds lad had left well enough alone the cross was going in without his offside header
A lot of unsporting gestures here between the rival fans. Would there be a bit of history here? It hardly goes back to the 1973 Cup Final?
Leeds beat Sunderland last season with a 95th minute winner in Elland Road and gave the Sunderland fans loads of it. Not surprising to see them giving it back.
