You should probably be more specific and mention Miller as there are probably other substance abusers on the roster.

Fact. Elway normally doesn’t give in on negotiations like this but Miller was always going to be the exception to the rule for him.
Well in fairness, considering that he and the defence pretty much won the superbowl, its not that wrong to pay him a QB type rate and the QB will only have a very basic rate. It mightnt fuck them up too much, but its a risky enough ploy to more or less switch the emphasis of money spent on players. Their hand was forced to an extent, so it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out for them this year and further down the line when the money is tied up in the defence.

So Lamar Miller and Foster have swapped sides. Ironically, Foster did his achilles in the week 7 matchup with the dolphins last year. A game in which Miller went nuts with about 200+ yards. It was a standout game for me, as a Miller & Foster owner, on my way to Turd dominance.

Ah jaysus, that’s saddened me.
They had Randy Moss on NFL Live earlier and asked him that was Dennis Green line in the locker room. Moss replied that Coach Green was a real hit with the players. The players came first. A players’ coach. Coach Green never fined the players. For anything. Moss laughed when quoting Coach Green “I won’t fine you. I’ll touch you. But i won’t fine you.”
