Does he have a point or is he talking through his hoop

It’s a very cruel way to lose it but they could have avoided it by not shitting themselves in normal time

I went to bed at 1 pm on the night of Brexit, US Presidential election & Super Bowl expecting wins for Remain , HRC & Atlanta.

He’s mostly talking through his hoop. That’s the rule and it’s a lot less determined by the coin toss than it used to be. Basically puts some onus on the defense too to win a game. And Falcons couldn’t defend by that time.

Atlanta would’ve been a lot less likely to score an OT touchdown if they’d won the coin toss given the way the Pats D was playing and the way the momentum had swung. Also scoring a TD on first drive of OT is not common enough to make the coin toss that pivotal.

If you looked at the body language of both sets of players at the coin toss you’d only pick one winner. Matty was bricking it

Just another dumb Mick who doesn’t get it. The Patriots still had to march down the field… Atlanta could have made a play and got the ball back etc. etc.

It’s like saying golden goal soccer extra time winner within 30 seconds of the extra time kick off is unfair on the defending team. Tough shit, defend!

Well that’s not really his argument is it? His point is that if you win the toss you get a chance to win the game immediately. The opposition must defend their line and even if stop the score must start their offence maybe close to their own line.

I know fck all about it but does seem a little unfair

Thems the rules

Brady started on his own twenty five…that wasn’t fair, what if they turned it over that close to the Patriots red zone?

The golden goal rule in association football was widely derided as shit and thus scrapped, mate.

Did this too Art, couldn’t see the Pats coming back from that. As a Seahawks fan I should know better

Couldn’t believe my eyes this morning when I saw the result and how it unravelled for the Falcons, literally unbelievable.

The only rule change if any should be a 10 minute break between regulation time and OT,the Falcons D were completely shattered after that levelling drive, they were like zombies everyone knew the game was done once the Pats won the toss. That collapse by Atlanta joins all the great chokes of sporting history,Croke park 94,Istanbul 05,Medinah 12 and now Houston 17.No mas no mas.Brady is the GOAT now he claimed it off Joe Montana last night, people can argue about all the ins and outs all day but that man will retire with at least one more ring on top of last nights.
