Had a lovely call from an English number asking was I interested in financial markets. I asked how did you get my number, which he didn’t hear, then told me I applied online, to which I said I didn’t. He said someone else did for me, which I told him to delete my data. He didn’t hear that.
I told him to delete my data otherwise we’ll have an issue and I’ll sort him. I went full limerick with abuse until he hung up. The cunt. Hopefully I’m blacklisted now

In these instances, you should tell them that you find their voice incredibly attractive, and would they be interested in taking this conversation to another level. They generally move on quite quickly, and if they dont you might get some action out of it.

Two (2) normal Irish people rang me yesterday saying they had a missed call off my number; the HSE hackers are doing wreck with my personal details
Got 4 calls yesterdayxandc2 so far today. Automated call from department of social protection to say my pps number is held. Press 1 for more info.

I’ve received the same call from 3 different Irish mobile numbers so far this week.
My wife has 5 calls gotten from them today.
092, 085 and 087 numbers
I received four calls last Friday from Irish numbers, each of them two digits out from my own number. The second and third last digits were different each time.
I wonder how they manage that?

I got two phone calls from Australia at 12 and the other at 1pm and didn’t answer. I then got an email from some fella in Sydney saying he was given my details regarding a bit of business in the west of Ireland and could I give him a call.
I’m only after getting off the blower…Some times those phone calls are genuine !!

Pretty sure it’s trivial to spoof the caller ID, so the system they are using would just have a little formula for spoofing the caller ID (e.g
increment the dialled number by 1)

Any lad answering a phone to a number he doesn’t know needs his head examined. Disable your voicemail or change it to say I don’t listen to voicemails so text me on signal.

Plagued with these today (well, 2 calls). Both 083 numbers. Answered the second one. A recording about the department of social protection. Hung up after about 7 seconds
Id a missed call from the “Department of social protection” got left an automated voicemail your PPS has been linked to criminal activity blah blah blah, rang Henry street your one was telling me they are all some 087 variation and when they trace them back it’s to some old misfortune who hasn’t a clue(I think the OAPs are masterminding the entire thing)
