We are back to the normal brutality in the pool in tanland. The lockdown is mighty. Only three massive lanes per pool and max five people in each. It’s lovely.

You can join all the pools in greater Manchester for free, and for £21 per month, swim free as often as you want.
Their app is absolutely brilliant. You book your swim in advance and just scan the barcode on your membership card on your phone. Brilliant service.
I was even wished a happy birthday by a quite beautiful young lady on reception.
