First swim of the year just there. In off Pegs Rock. Was the water cold. Yes it was. Did I ever feel I was going to perish. No but I was heartened to see a life guard on the beach. Did I enjoy it. Yes very much.
It’s a little tradition of mine not to sea swim outside the period from the June bank holiday to 31 August.

Its fucking glorious on the Fingal Riviera lads. Crystal clear. I achieved the incredible feat of getting sunburn and hypothermia in the one swim.

The waves were glorious on Tower bay beach in Portrane. Could have stayed in for hours. Has given me an awful thirst for some real porter.
