Cold grey and windy in Galway bay this morning. Lovely though
enjoy
Was in Seapoint yesterday and Sunday. Water wasn’t great but the temperature was glorious. Absolutely packed there both days. Everyone keen for a dip after a near 2 months of rain.
Looks like a holiday postcard from the Soviet Union .
What wasn’t great about the water?
The shit and radiation I assume
Ah it was just a bit murky, full of moss. Dogs Bay it was not.
Ah, seapoint in Dublin, not Galway. Carry on.
Was chatting to a medic today and apparently you can get some nasty UTIs from swimmimg in dodgy water. Blood pissing out your japs eye was the terminology used.
I remember too when I wouldn’t get in when the water was too cold
Did any lucky poster catch a glimpse of Christina Hendricks at the 40 foot?
I was here on Sunday and after I got out of the water two dolphins appeared, pottering around about 50 yards out for a good while. When they eventually drifted further out a seal popped up right in close.
A cracking dip on the velvet strand at midday. Huge waves and sun shining down on the nut. Very little of the ghetto blaster full moon ex drug addict crew too.
A lovely day for it while the high rock is out of bounds. Water starting to get colder though.
Are you an “all the ear round” man? Must get too cold to actually swim in the Winter, as in just go under and get the fuck out ASAP?
