First time on Velvet Strand…

Kip…

Unfair

Looks ok to me after what was a heavy visitor number today. And @Juhniallio is not around to clean it up on the daily

Two pizza boxes left there out of shot. This is why we can’t have nice things in this country.

The one plus side was the water quality seemed good.

Lovely swim here yesterday evening.

What beach is that

Balscadden in Howth. Great little spot tucked away at the end of Howth.

Was in howth thia morning

Loads doing the finglas to howth summit race which looked really tough

Very difficult beach to get down to if you don’t have full mobility but a lovely place to swim.

Yep those steps are not for the faint hearted. Still not as though to get to as the secret beach where you have to practically scale down a cliff.

Still a nice set up on the beach with the benches at the wall. Was loverly there yesterday evening about 7. Not packed everyone just cooling off.

Jamesons Cove is the one where you have to scale down the cliff.

Spectacular looking but walking barefoot on those rocks would put me off.

Defo one of the downsides but apartment side of the beach is not as bad as the other side. A pair of those wet shoes are needed

Where’s the best beach in Dublin? Loughshinny? Dalkey?

Went to Dromineer for the first time today. Lovely spot. Fantastic place for the younger kids to swim.

Sounds like horrible scenes in Rosslare but that everyone survived.

Gas, lads calling a pile of rocks a beach.

Looks like an incredible response from the emergency services

Whiskey Still in Dromineer has great bar food. Village needs a coffee shop to cater for breakfast / lunchtime

Bluefire Jellyfish in the water in Dunmore this morning. That was a new one for me. Supposed to sting worse than the run of the mill Moon Jellyfish.

Passed it about 15mins ago. Looks stunning!
