You can swim in a place called Lough Muskry.
But it’s a bit of a hike in, two hours, by all accounts.

Have you made your peace with death yet?

For a few minutes I was wondering if I’d actually drowned and I was in some afterlife like your man in Ghost. But then I went pulling weeds at the front gate and I realised that the afterlife wouldn’t be that shitty.

Not much detail on the exact route, but a fair achievement all the same.

Plenty of info on his Instagram.

High rock this afternoon. Fresh.

Choppy too

No plebs showed up I hope?

Twas. An older guy out for a walk with his wife got a slap of a wave and slipped and fell down onto the rocks, he was lucky he didn’t go in altogether.

Don’t bother your arse swimming if you want to be good at swimming

First swim of the year there in the Guillomene this morning. It was beautiful.

Did you purposefully wait until June?

Always do. I’ve no interest in swimming in the winter.

There was a swim warning for Dublin on Friday after the heavy rain. Reckon it’d be grand by today after two days of tides? cc @Juhniallio

I was in the forty-foot last night and white rock this morning, not puking or blowing out my hole yet.

Could see the mainland from Killiney hill this morning

Left it late for a dip on the velvet strand as young lad had soccer thing. Had to laugh driving in at our cultured friends on 5-6 sulkys today in file coming the other way holding up traffic for nearly a kilometre as they idled their way down Drumnigh Road with not a single fuck given.

Felt the velvet strand would be a bit crowded today…

Velvet Strand looks to be the best beach in Dublin? Was at Loughshinny, didn’t think much of it. Dalkey seems small. Trying to figure out place to swim tomorrow.
If I was at home I’d head for St. Margaret’s over by Carne, handy out no matter the time. Up here it’s fubar during the day at all parts of the coastline.

Careful now…
