It would be immense for Laois to do the double in the Losers’ Cups.
They’d erect tallest dwarf statues on the M7/M8 at the county boundaries, like Newcastle’s Angel Of The North.

Definitely seems to be gaining momentum year on year as the relatively bigger teams like Westmeath Kildare and down begin to understand the importance of the spot in Sam maguire.
It would be a big deal for a fermanagh sligo or Wicklow to win it though
Tis a shame its not still named for Tommy Murphy. It was wrong how they blackguarded that mans name.
I respectfully disagree. It’s a competition designed to cater for teams in the lower divisions and deserves as much respect as the Sam Maguire series.
I can assure you that the Tailteann Cup would be welcomed in Ballinamore or Mohill with an enthusiasm that would surpass the arrival of Sam in Tralee or Killarney.
We can’t all be from or reside in Division 1 counties…
It’s a lovely competition. It’s working brilliantly this year also. Hard luck at the weekend, I’ll leave it at that
You’ll be familiar with the old Gaelic maxim ‘tús maith leath na hoibre’ well we didn’t adhere to it and left ourselves too much to do.
By God. How long can Ireland remain unfree while men like @Chancer have breath left in them?

Going by this clowns logic he’d scrap the Intermediate and Junior championships in every county too.Sure whats the point in winning them.
Apples and oranges.
The Toddy O’Sullivan Cup in reality is a bit like what astute observers think might happen as regards the Katie Taylor fight.
People say “it deserves support”, you get a lot of empty corporate communication trying to convince you that something is plainly a lie is actually true, and then nobody actually goes, because nobody is actually interested.
Wouldn’t take any notice, clearly an individual with a sheltered existence.
That should be the slogan for the Tramadol Nights Cup.
4pm Saturday is ideal for bringing youngsters in and then sending them home with their mothers and then ![]()
Gas cunt - criticises referee and linesman and then says he can’t blame them, after ranting about them.
Leitrim boss Steven Poacher took issue with some of the decisions made by the match officials in his side’s Tailteann Cup defeat to Wexford.
Addressing the media in Carrick-on-Shannon afterwards, Poacher said of referee Barry Cassidy’s performance: “I don’t know, maybe it’s just me being bitter and twisted after a game, but incredible some of the decisions.”
He also commented on linesman Niall Cullen’s role in Conor Quinn’s dismissal.
“Niall refereed us against Galway and have a look at that performance - he was linesman today and he spotted something that I don’t think anyone spotted so we’ll look at the video. We’ll have a look at the video and we’ll see but I didn’t see any strike, I don’t think anybody’s seen any strike, so it is what it is," he continued.
so we can’t blame the referee, you have to look at ourselves.”
The refereeing must have been very poor, Poacher would never have used decisions that went against his team as an excuse before…
Sure it’s the Twomileborris Cup, the standard of everything is very poor.
Hes certainly not a man for excuses.
One of those rare occasions where you can watch a Wexford football match on GAA+ @Bandage. Although come to think of it, the Fermanagh (A) match was also on GAA+.
Fuck me our lads are some crowd to score two pointers.
