Taylor Swift- (Generation me)

This lyric puts a lump in my throat

You who charmed my dad with self-effacing jokes
Sippin’ coffee like you’re on a late-night show
But then he watched me watch the front door all night, willin’ you to come
And he said, “It’s supposed to be fun turning twenty-one”

Do you also think certain music is catered solely to men and is it weird if women like it?

I had a right aul chuckle when I read that

The MANLY men like MANLY music :man_shrugging:

Real men are not fans of Taylor Swifts music is what you avoided saying

She’s no Patti Smith

I would say real men are open minded.

Good music is good music, my contributions to various threads would show that I have an eclectic taste, I’d never listen to Taylor Swift alone but she’s been part of my car journeys since about 2012, the red album, I can recognize that she’s a really good artist, streets ahead of most modern pop acts. Her recent stuff is quite mature, I do love how she winds up the usual suspects though :man_shrugging:

I only know one Taylor Swift song but I’m quite partial to Dua Lipa’s music and I also use female deodorant sometimes.

Fair play to Taylor for playing a gig while she missed glins defeat to galbally in the intermediate football championship. John Kiely 1 Taylor Swift 0

I too would claim to be trans if I could ride women in women’s prison

Her entire shtick is posing as a weepy teen getting over her first breakup…and her in her mid 30s
You’re a gas man altogether
“Artist”

Get outta here you. You don’t like my new table. You’re dead to me.

That’s just women though generally. See also Sex and the City.

Evermore and Folklore weren’t like that at all though.

She’s had multiple different styles, hence the Eras. Marking yourself out as a bit clueless.
