We know why it happened. You’re not an oracle Kevin. It happened because of an unjustifiable, despicable violent reaction to some political commentary from a satire magazine that poked fun at all religions and plenty of other institutions. That’s a fair difference from saying they were stupid, brought it on themselves and it was inevitable and your sympathy is reduced because of who these people are. I think this shows you up to be callous, naive and frankly wildly out of touch with the basic concepts of society.

Huh? People, as in other than you and on other forums, were making the point that today’s assassinations were as a result of Western interference in Muslim countries. The response to that is hardly to go out and kill cartoonists is it? If there was a dangerous dog next door to me I’d phone the authorities and have him put down, like any normal person, just like I’d do with the savages that murdered innocent people today. If you’re suggesting that the west should refrain from such satire or challenging what takes place in the name of Islam out of fear you’re off your game.

It’s terrible and sad, but to every action there is a reaction. You can try to undermine my character all you like cos I rattled your cage this week, but to be honest I’m completely comfortable with my views and more importantly my honesty and balance.
