True, and he deserved to be listened to. But at the same time, he was incredibly emotional (somewhat understandable naturally) and lost the plot. He probably shouldnt have expected much more from them.

Who is Owen Jones?
He’s a Socialist who unsurprising writes for the Guardian. He’s also a YouTuber. He likes to think of himself as the go to voice on the yoof (never worked a day in his life outside of his left wing bubble) and LGBT matters.
In fairness to him, he’s managed to boost his public presence even more with this which would have been an aim. I notice the Irish Times are sydicating his Guardian column from today
