When youâre dealing with a mentality that says youâll be rewarded in an afterlife for that type of shit itâs impossible to defend properly without some further loss of personal freedom. A continuation of the perfect catch 22 these lads have developed.
Get ready for larger, stricter barriers at the edge of arenas with metal detectors and see through bags required at all events. Already a policy in US for NFL games. And if it prevents more events like this, itâs worth it despite the widespread first world annoyance.
Itâs surprising given how lax Irish events are in comparison with other countries that we havenât been hit yet.
Heinous in the extreme, targetting young children, and specifically women, its abhorrent. I cant even begin to contemplate the scenes last night, or those outside the Etihad this morning as people try to find loved ones.
When terrorists are willing to blow themselves up for âa causeâ then it doesnât matter what the fuck you do. Itâs a completely different battleground.
I donât know how the fuck theyâre going to combat it
Yeah, I donât know how youâd stop this. It doesnât appear to be a terrorist network anymore, just random cunts declaring alliegence to ISIS and attacking.
One thing I would suggest would be that any fucker who heads to Syria or Iraq to train or fight from Europe should be stripped of his European passport straight away. If you wanna fight for Iraq or Syria, then stay there. Probably wouldnât do a whole pile but it might stop a few at least from coming back knowing how to make nail bombs
The whole thing is completely nuts. Like when these loonballs drive a truck into a crowd. Thereâs no way you can police someone just turning up in a crowd and blowing himself to bits. Look at the Point as an example. When a crowd comes out onto the quays at the end of a concert thereâs nothing to stop some cunt just walking across the East Link strapped up with stuff and getting into the middle of people and doing it.
Maybe we should be thankful that weâre such a bland nation that weâve not appeared on their radar yet - for the moment.
As has been said it is impossible to stop these attacks when life, including their own, means nothing to these people.
Could just as easily have carried this out in The Trafford Centre on a busy shopping day or around The Printworks area with all the bars on a busy Saturday night.
I agree- You can be as liberal as you want, but at the end of the day even the most moderate of that lot look at us as heathens and believe that one day we all will be converted to their way of life.
