Have we had any Shia attacks on the west?
Yes, Manchester last night was the latest.
Thatâll have to be my last answer for now Iâm afraid.
So it wasnât ISIS?
Apologies, thought you said Sunni.
The Iranians are Shia and are lovely people seemingly.
So was this lad a Brit or what?
Yeah, doing some reading here and the Shias seem sound sorts. They are Hezbollah and PLO who never really did any harm to the West unless they were asking for it.
I think youâd need a camp the size of Australia
Unless youâre a gay.
Brit born of foreign parentage
Heâs British so.
Ya conflict between Muslims and âthe westâ began with oil.
Libya was officially blamed for Lockerbie, but itâs commonly thought that it was an Iranian/Syrian/Palestinian co-ordinated attack in revenge for the US shooting down an Iran Air passenger plane in July 1988.
Suicide attacks were popularised by Iran during the war against Iraq during the 1980s, but that was an actual war and the Shia have never used them to any real extent against the West in purely terrorist terms.
The Palestinians are Sunni. Thereâs always been alliance between Hezbollah and the Palestinians though due to them having Israel as a common enemy.
Australia sounds perfect for this
Are the Palestinians too busy fighting the Israelis to get caught up with terrorising the West so?
You mean somewhere like camp Buca where all this shit started with when the coalition forces moved in
to Iraq and interned 30000 lunatics and turned them into jihadists?
Pretty much. Suicide bombing was a favoured method of the Palestinians against Israel from around the mid 90s onwards, and particularly during the second Intifada from 2000 to 2003 but hasnât been used much by them since then.
Using suicide bombs in the West would irreparably damage the Palestinian cause as it relies on civil society in the West for continued prominence. The ISIS ideology hasnât really taken hold there.
