Something happening in London?

A taxi after ploughing into people?

Not terror related apparently

Of no interest then.

A few years ago 8 people being ploughed down in a terrorist attack in New York would have been headline news for days. The latest attack has barely even registered.

Was thinking that earlier too, itā€™s bad times we live in.

the world is fucked. I read a comment on one of the american news pageā€™s facebook earlier, this one wrote ā€œthe worst thing about this is it will allow Trump to spew more racismā€ Not that people were killed or anything.

America is divided completely. When news broke of terrorist attack killing people the left was at home fingers crossed that it was a white perpetrator, just so they could jump on. Total silence when itā€™s yet another islamist. The right the opposite of course, the amount of support trump still enjoys in his base is amazing. a total buffoon but some people are so embittered heā€™ll have to do. Meanwhile the media whines on about Russia, as if the russians were planting evidence and inventing things, instead of just helping reveal them. And the question no one asks, why the fuck 44 million people would vote for a joke like trump, how had their lives become so bad that they would do that, is ignored, or written off as ummm racism.

It wonā€™t be long until the whole thing unravels. Whether itā€™s Repubs or Demos in control makes no difference whatsoever, the lobbyists decide what legislation gets passed and itā€™s contents. They are all a bunch of lying self serving fucks with a so called media only too willing to go along with the narrative.

But hey, Facebook, Alphabet and Amazon stock is soaring which means fuck all to the average person.

Itā€™s like Trump is a neoliberal manchurian candidate. Whips the right and left into frenzies and anyone whoā€™s left near the middle is drowned in the bile, all a distraction from the real issues that need to be addresed in the country and allows the special interests to work away as normal. I have sirius radio in the car so switch on CNN and MSNBC now and again, its just hour after hour of trump and russia or whatever todayā€™s outrage is. And itā€™s all meaningless.

The Mueller probe which is costing tens of millions and will probably reach hundreds of millions is an absolute joke but typical of what happens when a special councel gets appointed. There are thousands of cunts who were named in the Panama papers who have done as much or more as Manafort and not one has been prosecuted.

As there is nothing to pin Russian collusion on, Mueller will chase this down the rabbit hole as long as he can milk it. The most they have is that Russian agents approached Trumps campaign promising dirt on HRC, had a few meetings and delivered nothing. Meanwhile the DNC paid $10M to Fusion which was used to try and dig up dirt on Trump using Russian sources. You couldnā€™t make it up.

But as you say it keeps the masses distracted. Somewhat.

The world is fucked with all these thirty year old sexual allegations, if a ā€˜celebrityā€™ looks sideways the media is all over it calling them a pervert itā€™s like people need some fucking cause to be outraged about these days. Is life not tough enough without worrying about who looked at who or who touched who the wrong way?! Iā€™m not saying there isnā€™t deviants out there but this is just fucking bananas.

The biggest outrage generators are the Hollywood celebrity set who have been lecturing from their bully pulpits for years about human rights and sex crimes, while protecting the worst deviants in their ranks. Delighted for the cunts.

The only surprise about that whole fiasco is that it took 30 years to come out

Which do you think would be a more sensible thing?

Getting rid of guns, or getting rid of Muslims?

Think hard, now.

Not really, look how long it took in Ireland and elsewhere for the child rape by clergy to come out. People donā€™t want to believe it so it canā€™t be true.

In the case of the New York incident? Banning trucks obviously.

Itā€™s harder to rent a truck in the US than it is to buy a gun.

Sure.

It isnā€™t, you need a drivers license to rent a truck. A legal gun purchase involves a background check. Neither would have worked in this case so banning trucks is the only way to go. Especially as it seems to be one of the preferred method of terrorist attacks these days.
