Test Match Cricket

Aggers just told McGrath he should have planned the cancer charity day for today rather than tomorrow.

I can’t wait for Sir Geoffrey’s arrival into the commentary box.

But perhaps England will be all out before then?

the cunts have just cut off TMS , i am fucking seething

Surely the shipping forecast shouldn’t be until 00:48?

That’s over ten minutes away, still.

instead of Henry Bloefeld and Glenn Macgrath i now have david gower and andrew strauss…

Particularly nasty shipping forecast tonight.

Cromarty, Forties and Dogger have it particularly bad.

Faroes, surprisingly, is the calmest sea area.

Just switched over, what is the story with the cunts in wigs?

41/5 looks like a disaster zone

Boycott and Blowers on now

Aussie fielding is very good

Athers, Hussain & co are showing an appropriate stiff upper lip in the face of aggressive natives

right off to bed , 3-20 AM, he’s asleep,
ill be up again at 5-30am hopefully with news that treacherous cunt Boyd Rankin has had his arm broken

It’s a nod to Richie Benaud who is still recovering from a car crash in October.

This is much better from Ben Stokes and Gary Ballance. Australia were 97/5 at one stage yesterday. If England can get a good 6th wicket partnership going, they can make inroads into the deficit.

tearing the arse out of it here with the helmet replacement

Sir Geoffrey bemoaning the lack of a Devon Malcolm style bowler in the English attack. A bit of Devon style batting wouldn’t go amiss either, the SCG was the scene of Devon’s greatest batting triumph, an heroic partnership with Angus Fraser in the corresponding New Year test in 1995.

I remember they pickedmdevon Malcolm with the line “if he doesn’t know where it’s going, the batsman doesn’t either”. England badly need a tyro.

Maybe Tymal will get the call.

In fairness the first hour this morning was as punishing a spell of bowling as I’ve seen in years. It’s a pity that Johnson can’t bowl for more than 3 overs at a time though.

Cricket is great and mitch Johnson is a god

They don’t have to when they have Harrris and Siddle with Lyon as back up. Then he can come on for short aggressive bursts. England have few options in comparison.
