Pakistan all out for 339 in the first test at Lord’s. Looking forward to seeing Mohammed Amir bowling now on his return to test cricket.
I always felt he was hard done by. Very hard done by if you look at the harm done by other white collar criminals and the relative prison terms (or lack thereof)

I’d have a degree of sympathy for him as well. There is some disparity in the millions that cricketers next door in India (particularly for the pyjama rubbish) earn and the pittance their Pakistani counterparts are on. Pakistan generally better test cricketers than India.
Not the best of comebacks for Mr Amir so far. He’s conceded 28 runs in 5 overs at 5.60 an over and not a sniff of a wicket yet. England racing along on 59/1 after 10 overs. Don’t think I’ve ever seen Captain Cook score at such a rate. He’s on 35 off 28 deliveries.
Agree. A few cunts like Graeme Swann bleating about life bans. Aggers and Boycott much more reasonable said he was only a kid and had served his punishment.

Amir bowled Cook for 81. Delighted.
Five for Yasir. Woakes rescued things a little near the end, but Pakistan ahead of the game. A cracking weekend of cricket in store.
Tremendous Test match at Lord’s. Pakistan lead by 178, four wickets down. Younus hanging in there but he looks in terrible form. Shafiq with him, he looks a player. They have put on 50. Pakistan have a long tail. England will fancy it’s 6 out, all out. 250 would be a challenging target on a fourth day pitch against the Pakistan attack.
Lead goes to 202 - Pakistan 135/5. Intriguingly poised.
England wrap up the final two wickets in a hurry this morning and will chase 283. Should be a great day’s play.
