@PhattPike hasn’t tipped a delivery driver in 8 years
Maneness
Are we American now?
I’d throw the postman and the parcelforce lad 20 each at Christmas. That’s it, you’d be a laughing stock amongst delivery men if you started throwing them a fiver a visit
And you know something, it could even be longer than that.
@Batigol didn’t tip the overweight she-man who served him a McAirport Sandwich last night.
dungeon the fuck out of this one…
ye could have had a PM lads
Mute thread.
Move on with life.
Dont let it worry you.
I am American yes
It doesn’t take a lot to show some appreciation for good service.
I left 20 on the inside of the bin lid for binman at Xmas. Looked out window expecting a wink or nod of appreciation. Instead see said card get scrapped into lorry by rubbish pouring out.
Don’t you pay for that already ?
Great thread
It should really out the big dogs on here
I think that was a far more likely outcome than him checking the underside of the lid for a card Would you not just go out and hand him the card?
Nice gesture all the same. The bin men have a shitty job and it’s good to show your gratitude.
I would have always had you pegged as a man that tips for good service. Looks like I was wrong.
I’ll blame it on the Kilkenny streak in me.
I’m 2 years in the house and leave a card for postman and for binmen at Xmas. Last year both said thanks. This year, only the postman!
I remember being broke in college one night and a pal and I half concocting a plan to drive ahead of bin routes just ahead of Xmas checking for cards. Fairly common back cards left out then. Some hiding if caught I’d imagine
Proper order. I’d always give the postman and the bin men a bottle each at xmas.
