The whole superstar dj thing was mental. Lads getting paid fortunes to play a few oul cds for an hour and then move onto a few more clubs in the same night. Getting all sorts of drugs and women thrown at them too.

Check out Francois YouTube channel. He’s uploaded a hape of records from his collection. Went down a rabbit hole there the other night for about 2 hours.

I was big into Drum n Bass for a few years…mid to late 90s Drum n Bass was the height of it. Went to a few of the big all night raves in England as a chap around 97/98… DJ Hype came to Costello’s in Limerick in 99 I think.

Halcyon days.

There was a simple enough rule back in the day - anything on the R&S label was brilliant.

I remember MTV in the Ormond multimedia centre in July/August 1996
