TFK exclusive: Donal Og's Gay
@caoimhaoin , DOG does speak very highly of his da in the book and said that he knew it affected him the most, I would know his da and he is as a sound a man you could meet, but shur that’s how it is,
His mother and sister stopped going to games after Tipp in Semple stadium in 2009, for obvious reasons
id be interested to know why you regard this post as dumb kev?

I’d say it’s still quite rare for two gay men to have kids in Ireland.

In fact I think it’s not possible for a gay couple to adopt together (as can’t marry) think it is a loophole gov were being pushed to address.

Listening to Aenghus MacGhrianna speaking on the subject recently he never made any such mention, only referring to the age factor being a barrier to some gay couples.

I’ll go with the gays on this

I was working up to the day I left Fagan. I did not leave for economic reasons. One of the reasons I left was how depressing the place had got along with how up their ass another large mass had got. I’m hoping the recession has knocked some of the dickhead out of people. Clearly not everyone.

as an asisde, why do fellas need to have this “coming out” moment, seems awful fucking egotistical, just be gay and get on with it to fuck
They don’t need to, but it helps to confront bigoted and prejudiced attitudes to what is still a taboo subject, and helps to neutralise the bigoted and prejudiced gossip about the individuals themselves, peddled by bigoted and prejudiced people.

More power to the Cusack brothers - they’ve shown themselves to be amongst the most brave. enlightened and admirable people in Ireland.

Feel free.

A quick google would suggest you, and the gays you are taking your information from are wrong though. In fact it appears to be quite an issue for the gay community.

You were hoping we’d be cowed by the recession? Take a few of us down a peg or two? Classy stuff @caoimhaoin

Excellent post.
yeah , like donal og’s dad i suppose:rolleyes: he’d make you sick as well.

you’re one horrible, poisonous, judgemental, cunt kev but behind it all you havent a fucking clue
No. His dad had to deal with it. But even in the book Donal Og admits one of the things his dad was worried about was what people would say. This is an attitude I hate. Do I hate a person because if it? No, other wise I wouldn’t be able to live my ostentation or many of the older generation. I hate the attitude, not the person, it’s not really their fault. But anyone in this day and age under 40 with all the information we have now compared to 20 years a gap is making a choice to be an ignorant cunt like Julio or Fagan.

I’m delighted an bitter twisted excuse for a man like you doesn’t like me. Absolutely thrilled.

You can give it, but you can’t take it mickee = soft cunt

depends what you mean by giving and taking kev
if giving and taking means casting judgement over someone else’s family affairs than clearly i am not in your league, makes me a soft cunt i suppose,

Exactly. And you don’t think we needed to pull in the reigns a bit?

Thats not very nice.

I would find it hard if my young fella was gay. It’s not what I would wish for him. My wife feels exactly the same.

@caoimhaoin , in the crawling back to Ireland thread you mentioned you’d a partner and 3 dogs, is there anything else you’d like to get out on the table at this time ?

3-4 pages ago you a were suggesting I didn’t know my father?

It’s quite noticeable since the baba arrived you have been very active on here.

Whether people believe gays are going to burn in hell, are completely indifferent to them or totally embrace them, everybody has to deal with other peoples attitude towards them. Unfortunately this is the reality of the society we live in

I don’t think we do Fran. We don’t accept racism or bullying anymore. Why should we accept this kind if discrimination.

You should try crawling back with 100k in the back pocket and a hot 24 year old Aussie bird, fella.
I have only one dog though, 3 leads alright(you may have been confused). One for billy, one for you and one for Fagan.
