TFK exclusive: Donal Og's Gay

Heard it here first.

It was on AFR early this morning. And in the paper before that, no?

Quiet you.

What paper? Has he actually “come out”?

I just read the thread on AFR, what the fook is everyone writing books for!!

who is donal og?

Checked to here

giant who cares,

there’s a media obsession with homosexuality and fear of being called homophobic, recently highlighted by the dearth of coverage of the deaths of stephen gately and matt lucas’ ex husband. I have no doubt that if shane lynch and david walliams missus had died that there would not have been anywhere near the coverage given

if someone’s gay it does not effect their (lack of) singing ability, their ability to be a goal keeper or a cunt. if we live in such an equal society then sexuality does not come into the equation and someone’s sexuality should not be a reason for a front page exclusive

did i mention that donal og is a cunt ?

His book’s being serialised in the Oirish edition of The Mail on Sunday - just checked out their site to read what he has to say and they only seem to have the English stories up there.

The whole point is that sport is one area where there is very definitely not an equal society in this regard. I still think he’s a cunt over the last two strikes at any rate (the need for the first one was debatable) - however going public on this takes serious guts and whether he has a book to promote or not is irrelevant.

i agree with you to a certain extent, but the poiht being that there is n need somebody to come out in a paper, if they want to tell their friends, colleagues, team mates etc that’s fine but doing it nationally is unneccessary and will in some way muddy the waters around the GPA as any questionuing of ogie and his motives can be swatted away by a quick shout of “homophobia”

whats the story with all your homophobic posts lately?

i think you have confused anti traveller sentiment with homophobia

Yeah, the glove was the giveaway

I’m with Sid
Not a fan of Donal Og’s trade union agitation but to come out in the world of the GAA takes serious guts
Fair play to him, I applaud his courage:clap:

I thought everyone knew this? It was common knowledge surely?
