TFK "feedback" thread on big move

  • agree rating

but there is little point in continuing it further, if the software cant handle it then there is fuck all point in moaning about it. Page things isnt an issue at all to be honest.

In the absence of negative ratings, i can see a lot of posters seeking retribution by “flagging” the posts of others. Anonymous and spiteful, the perfect cocktail.

Agreed. I have been a victim of this underhand tactic myself and it is not nice

@Rocko, what’s the story with the username “underscores”? Can they be automatically removed? It’s affecting my enjoyment of the forum.

Getting used to it now myself. The ratings are a huge loss and I absolutely don’t accept @Rocko 's claptrap about it leading to more mature discussion. We are what we are, lads. We wouldn’t be here otherwise-we’d be on boards watching our fecking p’s and q’s. The return of the AFResque quoting is a bit bizarre with big long quotes running for half a page but it is what it is. The pages are no real loss. Ignore function is a bit of a loss but you’d get over it. Hopefully some of the posters who didn’t make it over like @Bean and @The wild colonial bhoy will join us eventually.

Lads complaining about insignificant things all week - it’s now time to resolve the material issues like this.

Incredible scenes, what a relief

I know Rocko will sleep a little easier tonight. I’ll e-convene the Horsebox crew later and tell them to fall in and give the new place their blessing.

q 1000 words from rocko on how the designers of the software(weird cunts obviously) have put hundreds of hours of thought into the use of underscores in usernames and they feel that underscores will lead to users posting more frequently and more intelligently which is backed up by studies undertaken by themselves that conclude users will eventually(3 to 4 weeks down the line) forget that they even have an underscore.

Yeah I’ve already forgotten I have an underscore.

You’re more likeable since the move. What’s going on here?

  1. @ Rocko strange one. if you type “46.” at the start of a post it comes out as a 1. as evidenced at the begining of this post.
  1. Weird

the topic progress dial is a nice new feature, but the rest of it is a dogs dinner of a design, roll it back and add the dial and we’re fine

I’ve just used the private flag feature to amplify my requests, I get the impression nobody’s listening

10 topics created in last 3 days, for the love of god, swallow the pride and roll back before its too late

actually, it is remotely comforting to know that simpleton @Fran has probably been sitting for the last week furiously hitting reload on the old site URLs wondering what’s happened

i’ll be taking our a legal writ if that underscore doesn’t disappear fucking sharpish (internet brand dilution)
