Long haul mate. It’s comfy.
Two movies?
That’s the trouble with modern IT. The novelty of watching new films has gone.
Tactical drinking. Iirc, Singapore is about 8 hours ahead, so I need to sleep the first six hours of the flight if possible, and then stay awake.
Coming back is pretty good, we get on the plane about 10pm or something, and land at 5am, so just sleep.
I’ll have a couple of drinks as soon as I’m aboard and take two sleeping pills.
I take melatonin when I’m back for the first 2 or 3 days.
Bleh.
You’d be better off with a good book or two.
I have them. I have 5, just in case of isolation
Im most looking forward to @anon67715551 most generous loan.
Lass was in tears at check in. Singapore work visa but wrong covid docs. Check in staff were great with her, but I don’t think she’s on this flight.
Flight fairly quiet.
FFS. World gone mad. Safe travels flatty.
Four fcuking hours now wait as I darent leave a 45 min transfer time
I wish I could fly on a plane.
Ps @flattythehurdler my younger brother has lived in Singapore for last 5 years. Have had their third child this week but moving to Japan in summer as can’t hack the controls and restrictions much longer. (He travels a lot for work)
Big brother in Singapore is overbearing at the moment and think he said 5% of ex-pat population have left for good. A nice thought before you board the plane
Give us a wave when you fly over the house tonight.
Do you have a house that can be seen at 30000 ft like flatty?
That might drive a few demented
Two years to the week like I last did some bidness travel
You would miss it at times
Now that’s living.
I certainly hope so having gone to all this trouble.
Me too. Trump Tower this week two years ago
