I made it. You needed a half bale of documents and a bit of luck to clear all the hurdles. We are now confined to the hotel room until we can show reception a negative pass.
They wouldn’t let you in the hotel without scanning the tracing app.
Masks aren’t mandatory outdoors though, or when dining etc.

It’s about the same price as Dublin, so yes very expensive, but not mad. It would make you feel completely insignificant. It’s about 30 degrees, but actually doesn’t feel that hot. Humidity it says is 70%. There’s a breeze though. It’s a beautiful place.
