I should be seeing the fruits of my first wildflower garden in the school very soon, started last year (autumn 19) as a horticulture project and kept it up during lockdown. Luckily we have a horticulture room and the world of equipment in the school and plenty of expertise on the staff but it’s a lovely project

Good on you. Kids love it and are very aware of biodiversity etc

The council said we will.probably just get dandelions on the green but the bees love them.

Councils should be doing it all.over Ireland

Bit late now obviously but be ready to bomb it with seed for next year, extra colour, but dandelions are cool.
Nice simple plan here

I’ve cut the grass three times already. It’s looking fabulous. I’ve a massive crop of lavender growing though for my wildflower offset.
