TFK Open Letter To The GAA-

Donal Og may have made a few flippant remarks about an Ulster team competing in the championship to help expand both the game and the champiosnship itself, but we all know social revolution must come from the people.

As the premier sports forum in Ireland, if not Europe, I propose that we, as an independent body with no sporting or political affiliations, take up the mantle that Mick Cusack started and insure that Ireland takes its place amongst the nations of the earth as a 32 county hurling playing country which is split in two (but under one organization)

Instead of hiding behind keyboards, I call on all freaks here to take a stand and do something positive for both themselves and the game-

The campaign, if managed correctly, could draw huge media attention to the site, and in years to come may be judged as an epoch, not only for the game, but for this great nation of ours as a whole.

We obviously need to assign various boards, or roles, before we get going. We will need one such group to focus solely on the structure of the competition and how best to introduce new teams, and what new teams etc. We need a media and communications team. Of course, a PR team (person that has the most contacts in the GAA and/or celeb world) and of course a legal team. This can all be organized later by the board of management.

So, in conclusion, if you’ve read all this you’ve probably figured out this isn’t an open letter to the GAA but a proposal to write an open letter to the GAA, to promote the game we love, as concerned patrons of the game.

If we build it, they will come.

Can we first have a show of hands before candidates express interest in specific roles.

Thank you.

Mark.

Fucking pussies.

You had your chance to make a change.

SLR and I will show you all.

Ye should set up a committee out in Mary I.

I think this is a fantastic initiative by the boards premier Limerick poster, apart from Balbec and GlasagusBan. It would mean TFK would not descend into the mindnumbing awfulness of the normal post championship lull and there would actually be something interesting here.

Lets get cracking.

Can anything stop this internet juggernaut?

Here, GAA, set up a service through your own website for people to subscribe to to watch GAA games abroad. Sound.

Why would they do that?

To be sound. Probably make a few bob out of it too.

It’s suddenly an issue now just because you are moving abroad… It’s all me,me,me with you!

I agree.
