Let’s do this -
No.
Thread closes Firday at lunch time- and should provide a clear indication of how the actual referendum itself should go.
Strong start
I think that’s just a given at this stage.
Don’t mind them hun xxx
The right to marry means the right to children in the Irish constitution- don’t be fooled people.
Can we please have a poll on what this referendum is really about - The right of gay couples to have children
Are you voting on Friday mate?
Unfortunately, and i’ve just learned this, the Irish constitution links both - if you are married you are entitled to children - the constitution needs to change if you want gay people to marry.
You aren’t. You’re entitled to procreate.
I’ve just listened to the man on the radio and he said the Irish constitution states it - Marriage - Children. If you have the former you are legally entitled to the latter, that’s what the constitution says.
A constitutional right to procreate within marriage was established in Murray v Ireland (1991). There is no constitutional right to have children within marriage via assisted human reproduction. If you’d listened to any of Kevin Cross’s media appearances you’d know this.
Yeah but the man on the radio said.
Fire them on… Same sex couples are usuing their marriage to challenge the constitution of Spain - according to the man on the radio. It’s all part of the gay agenda.
Vote no all day long.
its about who is more important- gays or children
I can’t.
