Are any sports in the Winter Olympics not a load of shite? Bob sleigh for example, about 2 seconds of running and then then the rest of the event acting as ballast. They may as well hand out Olympic medals to sacks of sand.
So a Californian lad, a Norwegian lad, a lady from France, one lad who was born in Ireland but moved to Utah young and one Irish chap will make up our winter olympics team.
We’d be lost without our diaspora.

I saw some Irish chap skiing in a qualifier round yesterday on Eurosport. He was 14 seconds behind the leader (who took about one minute thirty seconds to complete the course).

Our very own Eddie the Eagle. Tess Arbez qualifies because her father is from Carlow. I can confirm that Arbez is indeed a very common surname in Carlow.
