The format of gmans team layout is disgusting

Mayo falling into the liam ryan trap and ignoring bricks tough days at 6, a nod to niall healy which i didn’t think id see.

Gmail solid but slow rearguard, step up eddie brennan, underwhelming forwards as all they have to focus on is stopping dj and the job is oxo, troy better without the responsibility he would carry here. Good Midfield though.

@Liqourice_Pipes giving @Gman an awful pasting here

Not a hope that a Bugler or Crummy doesn’t do something brain dead and get sent off and cost Gman in the championship. Neither can help themselves

I’d worry about the mobility of a lot of gmans forwards if the going got tough or once inevitably down to 14

Was looking at that Bugler\Gleeson match up. At least one of them & probably both see the line.

There’s a serious lack of pace in @Liqourice_Pipes defence

The half backline lacks a bit of covering speed alright. Full back line would be fine.

The layout of Gman’s 15 suggests a management and county board in complete disarray.

I imagine gman spent most of the year arguing about expenses and was left short on gear, equipment and coaching.

I’d say there won’t be a cone to be seen in the warm-up, but purely due to logistical reasons rather than choice.

I’d imagine the layout of the team looks shit on the mobile device and thats what is fucking it up.

Surprised, the Mayo man didn’t do a bad job here. If he is a Mayo man.

Mobility in the forward line? Its what the wing forwards are there for, as well as the midfield.

McCarthy and Murphy are all about pace and running onto direct ball and carrying it. Both super players to take the ball down the wing and pick off a few points a game. Up against the two Mahers? They’ll run all day and take them on with speed. There will be so much movement in the forward line, these lads wont be playing statically waiting under a high ball.

Troy in the middle isnt pacy, but he doesnt need it. He is like Pirlo, he will dictate the play and ghost around and pick off scores with ease. Brick? Having a laugh. Brick flick will be fucked.

The inside line is a mix of 3 different types of players to compliment each other. Begley is in as a target man, thats his role. All he needs to do is make sure Ryan doesnt win any wan on wan battles. Either win and take a score or feed it off, or at the least get the ball on the ground and let DJ do his thing. There is no better corner forward in the game than him. And farragher is a utility player, he can play in any position and is well able to take a score. I expect goals in my team, and with McGarry in the goal, they will certainly get them.

With O Connor and Browne in midfield, mobility is again the main factor here. Two players who thrive on creating space, moving the ball and endless running. Jamie Barron against Tony Browne? Ha. Coen against O Connor? Ha ha.

The half back line is built on strength and letting nothing in behind them. All fabulous fielders of the ball. My concern with them is being on a pacy wing forward, but Pipes hasnt gone for pace on the wings there either. Bugler will wind Aussie up to the last and he wont hack it. Sutcliffe on Crummey? Only one winner there. And who is going to bet against Seanie McMahon against an out of position McCarthy?

The full back line is as solid as they get. Mick Kavanagh knows Eddie Brennan and knows how to stop him. Niall Healy only plays in fits and starts, Ronan Maher is an AI winning full back.

With the best keeper in the game at the moment, his selection was taken so to make sure that any frailties out the field would not result in a handy goal. They will have to work hard to get one.

All in all, I’m happy with this match up. 15 on 15 with plenty of movement all through the lines and Murphy able to pick players out with his puck outs. McGarry is a long ball merchant that the half back line will gobble up.

Seanie Mc on 65s.
DJ on frees and penalties.
Murphy on long frees inside his 45.
Farragher on line balls.
Tony Browne gets the honour of leading the team onto the field.

Lets fucking do this.

Extra time - a long range free lands in the hand of Begley moments into the first half of ET and he buries it. @Liqourice_Pipes half forward line goes missing from here on in and @Gman wins pulling up

Stop trying to sway voting please Mr Francis Man.
