Matthew Ryan and Giovanni Bernard have been traded away from this storied franchise. Matthew was unfortunate to lose some star receivers and showed admirable star qualities in continuing to rack up points in a struggling offense. Giovanni was identified as a breakout star by our scouting staff and has met all expectations asked of him. For his career we feel his development would be best aided by a move to a team not on the current playoff horizons. I have every confidence that Gio will be running the show for @croppy_boy very soon.
Russell Wilson joins the Provos to bring his wealth of talent to the 2011 champions. He brings with him the less heralded Brian Hartline who joins an elite receiving corps. I would like to thank @Bandage for “discovering” Wilson during his time with the Badgers, doubtless Wilson would be struggling in Canada without Bandage’s keen eye for a QB.

Alex Smith is grateful for the opportunity to guide the Croppys on a Tebowesque run to the play-offs follwing th departure of the Seahawks QB (with back up from the able Ryan) while Bernard is a welcome addition of much needed depth at RB position.
It was with some disappointment that Hartline has left the franchise in his second season but nothing more (aside from .5 of a point more last weekend) could be asked of him and we look forward to him aiding his new side in defeating key opposition to the Croppys over the remainder of the season.
