TFKNFLFFL 1st Division 2013

Happy with my boys performance in the early games. Marvin Jones has rewarded me for the faith I’ve shown in him. Need my Cutler, Amendola and my RBs to bring it home in the late games.

Wasn’t meant to be for the Provos. Just didn’t get it done.

Fuck off with this Turenne shit.

Hard luck, pal.

Can you put your finger on why your power scoring offense failed to fire on championship night?

Congrats @braz83.

I feel sick to my stomach for any neutrals hoping to see a good contest tonight. @braz83 sent out his troops to try and keep the score down in the early games and then to pound the ball laboriously and relentlessly this evening. No doubt Cutler will air it out to look pretty once he has the victory sealed.

I knew my fate was sealed when Pierre Garcon was rightly called for an illegal shift earlier but there were no fantasy points deducted. What sort of league are we playing in when cheaters get a “do over” and their points tally remains intact?

An 8 game winning streak, all of which turned out to be must win. It’s a great feeling to be able to put out my defense and kicker for a lap of honour with the Championship already secured. Couldn’t be prouder of my boys.

Tough luck to @Rocko. A great champion like yourself won’t be kept down for long.

Without wanting to come over all @Turenne on it I am conceding defeat ahead of tonight’s 49ers game. I would need the 49ers D to get -5 or -6 points or worse and for Dawson to score 0 points. I’m considering that unlikely.

I hope @braz83 understands that my efforts to rile him in recent days were merely part of a sledging strategy and I have no ill feeling towards him. He’s a terrific coach who has assembled a great team. I know he will have suffered heartbreak at the same stage last season and it’s to his credit that he didn’t capitulate meekly like @Fran after enduring that misfortune. He’s a stronger man for the experience. In our annual private power rankings of posters, @Bandage and I ranked Braz in the top 30 - no mean feat for a no mark.

I am particularly pleased for Jimmy Graham who had his first season in the pro ranks away from the Provos and reminded us all why he was such an important part of my team over the past two years. After a tough season I just couldn’t cope with his second half athleticism which kept my safeties pinned back and opened up running lanes for his running back corps in the later games. A well executed strategy which ripped the Provos asunder.

I fondly recall my own days at the summit and I just know Braz will have a fantastic Christmas toasting this win. It must be sullied a little by that illegal shift from Garcon which really ruined any hope of a level playing field in the final, but I bear no grudge whatsoever.

Congratulations Braz. The best team won.

 If all comparisons to CLD could be officially retracted, that would be appreciated.

Well done @braz83 & also Consolation Bracket Champion @Scrunchie.

But what a bottle job by @Rocko. Embarrassing for #TheGreatNorth and its stellar franchises.

Well done @braz83. Keeping up the record that no franchise has ever won 2 TFKNFLFFL titles ever.

Hard luck @Rocko who shat himself when it came to crunch time.

The Great North me hole. @braz83 came out of the strongest division and won, and it’s no surprise I put fellow North Bottler @Bandage to the sword in the consolation match.

@Gman when are we getting this up and running?

Yea @Gman?

sometime before the season starts. no rush. the leper league needs to get up and running coz they’re a clueless bunch, us experienced campaigners know the score and wont worry over things.

Excellent commissioning.

Has a draft date been discussed yet?

discussed? you mean informed when its on.

Cunt.

Tomato tomato, when is it on?

you’ll know in good time. I’ll co ordinate a draft night like last year with my good buddy @Mark Renton
