The basic economic problem in the UK is the same as all other western countries, out of control government spending with fuck all to show for it, as government largely consists of incompetent corrupt self serving cunts.
UK spending has grown by 50% since 2019, the economy has grown by 30%. Have the lives of average UK citizens improved during this time? If the answer is no, why the fuck would more spending solve the problem?
The answer according to quarterwits is higher taxes and more government spending, The enemies apparently are entrepreneurs and business owners who actually employ people to do productive work and grow the economy. The fun will start when growth stalls in the next 12 months. Ever increasing debt payments and declining revenue, a recipe for disaster.

I don’t think the answer is taxing the people who have fuck all as it is either tbf.
My suspicion is the solution isn’t easy but from 2019 from the figures I can find the growth in wealth of the top one percent of people in Britain is around 30 percent.
Invariably in a crash these people do well again as they purchase houses and what not are cheaper. The cycle is never ending.
Labane is an unimpeachable expert on the UK economy and society and everybody would do well to acknowledge that.

People who earn fuck all pay fuck all taxes, the first 12,570 in the UK there’s no income tax and no Insurance contributions. Someone earning 60K has a marginal tax rate of 45%, Insurance contributions are 10%, then add VAT, council taxes,etc. may as well go on welfare. The people getting squeezed the most are the vast majority on average wages.
The rich like the poor will always be with us, but the rich are the ones starting businesses and employing people. Elon Musk for example who people love to hate employs about 150,000 people. If the likes of him and other entrepreneurs were to disappear, who would start companies and employ people?
The government? Lads who post on the Internet all day for a living?

His net worth is 500 billion. That works out at about 3.3 million per employee. Gona hazard a guess the vast majority earn less than a 100k working for him.
He’s also heavily involved in A.I which is going to make an awful lot of people unemployed in the future.
Also while the exact figure is not confirmed during musks tenure in doge the us government sacked between 300- 400 thousand people.
They need to sack a lot more as govt spending is totally out of control in the US, and once again the average person has seen no improvement in anything from all this spending.
Musks wealth is all stock from companies he has built, if he hadn’t bothered his hole and just worked as an engineer he would be worth fuck all and 150k would be looking for jobs elsewhere.
As far as AI, people said the same about the Internet back in 2000. It hasn’t turned out too badly and I think AI will be the same. Work will change but not go away.

Going to Bible School in Texas in 1993 was a real eye opener.
Devils advocate but did we not manage to run hospitals, build houses and staff shops fine before mass immigration became the go to excuse? Who was doing the work then? Or are we saying we have positions now that can’t be filled by Irish people.
The hse has 44 pages of unfilled jobs. And that doesnt include lots of the more menial roles like porters and cleaners who are contracted by private companies.

Fair enough looking at the list a lot of those vacancies are nurses. Hardly surprising i guess, when so many have gone to Australia there’s just no incentive to stay here.
I would have thought it was glaringly obvious that there are thousands of jobs that can’t be filled by Irish people. Have a look around you the next time you buy a coffee, get a taxi, visit a hospital or nursing home etc. We are more ir less at full employment.
Mass immigration is not a go to excuse for anything either. First of all its not ‘mass’ and secondly we are a wealthy country now and have a moral obligation to take immigrants from less well off countries. We have been sending immigrants all over the world since before the famine and when we are asked to reciprocate we have stupid cunts rioting.
