I said they cancelled performances becuase the cast was sick and @Juhniallio has just confirmed as much 
They’ll skimp on kids health and safety but have no problem firing millons on useless presenters who could be replaced in the morning by people from local radio around the country that would be ten times better at the job for a fraction of the price.

They also had too few understudies which came to a head, one of the leads went down with laryngitis then her understudy got covid

I can’t imagine she’ll have the same encyclopedic knowledge of music as the great Ronan but I will be happy if she proves me wrong.
As long as she knows how to find out what musicians were born and died on the day, she will do ok.

I’ll miss Ronan Collins. I’d often be driving at that time of day and his calm, smooth professionalism would always shorten the journey.
