Good tactics from the PAC to open the attack with Imelda. Other than Devlin the others have done ok and a strong finish just before the break there with more pointed questioning. They need to ask direct questions because Kelly will just waffle at every opportunity.
It’s like a strong bowling attack of fast bowlers with a bit of swing but once Kelly has played himself in he can just play defensive. He’s not looking comfortable out there but he’s keeping the strike away from Ryan. A bit of off spin after drinks from a rural TD might just unsettle him though.

They have an open goal but are bottling it here. Letting the two of them get away with obfuscation on a grand scale.
Brady had him there when he brought up the interview from only a few months back saying he’d no intention of retiring - all he needed to do was press that point and ask simply - ‘were you lying in that interview?’

Ryan sounded like he had something prepared for that question though. He was winding up for something flowery, kind of glad he didn’t get to unleash it

From afar, it looks like the opening statement clearly showed that RTE had fudged the blame game and tried to pin as much on Tubridy as possible. Clear mistruths and purposeful omissions from RTE management past and current.
That being said, seeing as Tubridy has gone on the rampage against RTE management it’s tough to see a path back onto the air for him.
The new DG in was all talk about wanting transparency and honesty from Tubridy but now that he’s got it he mightn’t like it that much …
Tubridy prepared this one’s questions for her I’d say.
This appears to be the most contentious thing which no-one will probe deeper on
So do we know yet how much extra cash Tubridy got?
