He referenced the Nuremberg trials in a tweet about the Dail committee. Alan Kelly (these lads take themselves very very seriously) said that he didn’t this what all appropriate. Alan Kelly on a side note didn’t seem to take issue with Catherine Murphy TD referencing Nuremberg in her comments the other day. Fanning withdraws the tweet.
To be fair to Fanning, I’d suggest the inept, circular and botched questioning has trivialised the proceeding far more than a tweet from himself but I suppose, as previously suggested, Alan Kelly and the like take themselves very seriously and think they’re doing a great job altogether and isn’t the bit of profile on the Six-One news great altogether.

He said he would pay it back. Prior to that he said the roadshows were going ahead.
I’m sure he would like to do plenty more at 25k a pop plus expenses like 700 quid for a car service to drive him to the venue.

Renault hardly charge 700e for a spin to an event?? 
Cost something like that to take him to Dundalk and back and in fairness they got a bargain at 25k.
It only cost RTÉ another 70k to build the mock up set.
So Renault pay him an additional 700e to drive him to Dundalk?
