Leo really fucked himself up on this one. Defended her to the hilt knowing she had to go. He looks very weak now.
Varadkar is clearly a politician of a very very poor standard.
His tactical nous is non existent and his clarity of thought must be very very poor, his judgement is of a very low standard. As judgement errors go this one is of similar standard to the Donal Og Cusack/Tom Humphries judgement error.

Wouldn’t agree with that. He stood up to FF which is really all that matters within FG.
All the pressure was on Frances to pack up & ship out which she has eventually done.
He made a succession of senior party members look like clowns out defending her over the weekend when he knew since Friday there was more emails coming
