The 32nd Dáil Eireann

Unbelievable from Pearse… He will be the leader of this country in the not too distant future.

I’m afraid Sidney that you boys are contradicting yourselves.

The public vote for “partitionist” parties. They are “quislings” apparently.

The only ones out of touch are the people who think this is an election issue. Few care.

Certainly the most capable of the sf lads. Think he has an issue with some goings on in the recent past which may adversely affect his chances of leadership of sf.

SF IRA don’t want that kid.
Their paper work and rhetoric might say they do but they have surrendered to the brits up there now and are happy to get the queens payslip every month.

Nobody, absolutely nobody in the Republic gives a fiddlers shit for that cesspit anymore. Not even Adams old friends in the ‘discontinuity’ SF IRA who need the border to run their ‘business affairs’’.

As in afro?

Adams is a republican, he is the greatest living Irish man alive today. A true patriot with integrity, humility and backbone which this state’s establishment parties know nothing about.

None of the states establishment parties take the queens shilling.
Adams Sf Ira do.

So he’s still alive then?

Yes.

Frank Flannery and Noel Whelan working as “honest brokers” on joint programme for government they will put to FF/FG.

How does a minority government come into being? Does it need to be voted in by a majority of TDs? How do FF expect to get a minority government in this particular situation? I can’t see any possible outcome where SF, Labour of FG agree to this which it would need for this to come to fruition?

How appropriate that Fianna Gael’s Thomas Byrne of Meath and Fianna Gael’s Damien English of Meath are on the same side of the desk here on Claire Byrne Live.

I expected we would see a budget prior to the next election.

My sources tonight have indicated that we may have an election prior to that.

The audio of Enda’s press conference in Washington which is doing the rounds on radio news this morning is his finest moment, after all these years I’ve finally warmed to him.

‘Mr Kenny joked that his day in Washington had “gone very well” before adding: “Bejaysus, I wish I didn’t have to go back and face what I have to face but c’est le vie”.’
