The age 27
Oh there’ll be none of that jazz dan, it will be a handful of years at least before I get suckered into even talking about that, even if the boss decides to get broody when she hits 30, you’d buy two years out of an engagement these days anyway, that’ll see me free til I’m 35+.

Hoisted by my own petard there Tipptops* it seems, I was a saddo back then granted, but I have turned my life around since (after all I’ve left AFR) and am seeing a young Carla Bruni lookalike these days, my minger days are over.
The key to your 30’s is quality, not quantity. Live by this rule and life will be good!

Unlike a Luftwaffe ace I was never a man for a big tally Fitzy but I agree with you, quality is the key. I would never venture below an 8/10 unless I had particular esteem issues around that time.

I couldn’t see you having esteem issues SS, unless you were very drunk of course.

Sometimes I can start to believe my own self deprecation Fitzy and will stumble off home from a night out with only a 7/10. A period of self-loathing and reappraisal results and normal service usually resumes shortly after.

But how do you actually know she is only a 7/10? At least you have the good cheer of knowing that the little lady has scored some quality.

Yes Fitzy, though on the flip side the rest of her life will be sad disappointment after that pinnacle.

How many 35 year olds go to Coppers?QUOTE]

Where the fook do we go at 35 then? Better make the most of the next 8 years.
I don’t go out in town any more.
I used to live in Rody Bolands and spend full weekends brekky supper dinner and then coppers. Very bad. Then got barred from there for attacking some lads singing “swing low”. They got barred also for retaliation so it was me and a group of white shirts on the street. We all went to Coppers then.
I think the last club I was Tamangos.
Rodys and Coppers were replaced with Gibneys and Tamangos.
I was married at 28 though so I’m not hunting for a long time now. I’ld be lost in town.
Yours in honesty,
GSH.

I think it was also the last club I was in. Got the bus out from Mullach Ide. A throwback to the teenage disco years. Tamangos is a scary enough place.
