The All England Lawn Tennis Championship 2016

Djokovic 2 points away from elimination

Make that 1

Good luck Novak you cunt.

On any surface with both players in their prime Novak would be lucky to win a set against Rafa nadal.

As I alluded to at the start of the thread, Djokovic had been pushed to 5 sets in the earlier rounds by Cilic and Kevin Anderson in 2014 & 15 and without a natural grass court game is always susceptible against that type of player. Federer has had a very easy run of it so far, but he looks old and slow after an injury plagued year and I wouldn’t be terribly convinced he’ll capitalise and make it to the final from the top half of the draw.

Even a blind man can see that Federer is the greatest of all time

Clay court is where it is at it is a leveller and Rafa handed roger his arse repeatedly.

This is a thread dedicated to the showpiece event of the tennis year, the Championship.

If you want to talk about tennis on dirt, can you move that particular discussion elsewhere.

Bog tennis is not the pinnacle, you fool.

Novak mustnt have taken bog tennis seriously this year

Line up for last 16 finalised

Sam Querrey (USA) [28] –v- Nicolas Mahut (FRA) David Goffin (BEL) [11] –v- Milos Raonic (CAN) [6]

Roger Federer (SUI) [3] –v- Sam Johnson (USA)
Marin Cilic (CRO) [9]-v- Kei Nishikori (JPN) [5]

Jiri Vesely (CZE) –v- Tomas Berdych (CZE) [10]
Bernard Tomic (AUS) [19] –v- Lucas Pouille (FRA) [32]

Richard Gasquet (FRA) [7] –v- J-W. Tsonga (FRA) [12]
Nick Kyrgios (AUS) [15] –v- Andy Murray (GBR) [2]

Cilic vs nishikori and kyrgios vs murray the 2 stand out games in this round. Kyrgios in trouble as well for calling someone in his team a retard. He such are fucking gobshite.

Pity del Potro went out but it was probably too much for him to play 3 days in a row.

Cilic would beat Federer in a quarter final. If Nishikori took out Cilic, Federer would have real prospects of winning it out.

For Federer to win he needs to keep his matches as short as possible. If he plays a 5 setter or 2 he is fucked.

Three straight set wins so far and another one in the post you would think tomorrow. Quarter Final is the tricky looking one. If he negotiated that I’d fancy him to take care of Querry/Mahut/Goffin/Raonic in semi final.

The Mailman delivers in straight sets once again :ronnyroar:
