I was merely highlighting Isner’s actual record on grass. Dealing with the facts. Prior to this year’s Championship, Isner had never made it past the 3rd round, the only Grand Slam that he had failed to do so in.
His actual record on grass is that he’s made it further than any other slam he’s played in?
Not when I made that post a few weeks back. Odd that you’re taking issue with a post in relation to John Isner which was 100% factually correct.
So what you’re saying is that you lacked foresight unlike me?
What foresight is this? I don’t recall you predicting John Isner or Kevin Anderson to reach the semi final. If you did, fire up the post and i’ll give you the pat on the back and the acknowledgement for that prediction that you’re craving.
The foresight that a guy you wrote off or another guy you called a bum will be contesting a Wimbledon final.
You must be embarrassed.
Never write a giraffe off on grass.
I think its a marvellous story whoever wins here and makes the final. A journeyman in his early 30’s in the twilight of an undistinguished career making the final of the biggest tournament of them all. They both seem like really good guys as well.
Is he looking for another blue peter badge?
You think they’re bums and you were denigrating the US Open last year for the fact Kevin Anderson was participating in the final. You were actually taking the puss out of him.
You only starting posting here a few months back Kid. That’s very odd carry on, reading up on posts on tennis a good 6 months before you found your way on to this forum. You must have a lot of time on your hands.
Big Kev holds for 8-8 in the 5th.
These two giraffes are neck and neck still.
Could they not let Rafa and Novak on for a bit and finish this tomorrow?
Big Kev holds for 10-10
Break point for Big Kev
Isner survives and holds for 11-10
This could go on for a while yet. Lucky they have the roof.
I could have wrote a thesis on this before Wimbledon this year and be proclaimed as a genius worldwide.
Big Kev holds for 14-14.
Giraffes.
