The All Ireland Senior Football Championship 2012

Iā€™ve decided to head along to Croke Park. Iā€™m a great Gael so I am.

Up the Royals !!!

no offence to the resident wexicans but i think after a few close encounters in the past dublin will finally give them a good trimming todayā€¦looking forwrad to see kildare todayā€¦so much talk about them as all-ireland contenders the last few years but i just donā€™t see itā€¦
be interesting to see how much they have developed as a footballing team as opposed to a bunch of wrist- taped, tight top wearing meatheadsā€¦they should be fit enough to over run meath but just wonder how clinical they areā€¦being realistic how could do you have to be to get to an all-reland semi final???..if u get luck of the draw u could make semiā€™s by just having one big performanceā€¦

Donegal are a serious outfitā€¦think they could take any team in Ireland with that gameplanā€¦something will have to be tweaked a little when they get to croker because i canā€™t see players being able to break like that for 70 minutes thereā€¦but by winning matches like yesterday the players will really be believing in the system and have great confidenceā€¦could see them reaching all-ireland final this yearā€¦

is it true that all of dudlins games are home games-madness

No, they play most league games at their home ground but Championship games are usually in Archbishop Croke Park.

yeahā€¦it seems a bit unfair but its the GAA wanting to mke as much money as thye canā€¦but then again I never heard a good intercounty footballer complaining about getting the chance to play in crokerā€¦

thought their league games were at croker?

why are you asking questions that you already know the answer to?..

Sometimes Dublin give up home advantage for the good of the association and play a ā€œhomeā€ league game at Croke Park. This is a hallmark of the selfless nature of the GAA. I think you could relate to it as a Romanista, a club founded on firm socialist beliefs.

Whatā€™s the history between Collins and Meath that RTƉ are referring to?

Jesse Christ Ger Canning doesnt even know the rules

Oā€™Connor was in the square when the ball was kicked, so that should still be a square ball right?

Fairly unbelievable. They even tried to disguise it then as just an open question.

That is correct but it will never be marshalled properly.

Emmet Bolton is acting like some cunt today whatever is up his hole.

Is that Giles the Meath physio?

Agreed, but the commentary was retarded. ā€œHeā€™s perfectly entitled to do that under the new rulesā€, etc.

Presume thereā€™s no punishment if youā€™re in there too early but donā€™t touch it. As you say itā€™s unlikely to be policed properly. Umpires just arenā€™t going to be looking for guys stepping into the square when theyā€™re looking at the ball 40m out the field.

Its a shady area rocko, its really going to be down to the refs interpretation but by letter of law youā€™re not to be in there but how is the ref to notice exactly when you exactly enter it. Thereā€™ll be trouble yet. As for the umpires, its simply not their job.

Meath are nearly out on their feet already unfortunately. Needed to take one of those goal chances.

They were tiring alright but extra man will make this easier. Good finish in store.

Keeper really unlucky there. Sheridan had a great chance to respond immediately.

ā€œThe goalkeeper ultimately beaten by the power of the shot.ā€ Or else his save ended up hitting another Meath guy and going in. This after watching three replays. Would RTƉ ever do us all a favour and put that fucker out to pasture?

Good finish in store here.
