Fantastic band. Playing in two weeks time again there. Saw them a few times before. Had tickets for Kilkenny a few years back when they did the Christmas EP revisit tour but we went on holidays that week instead. Last time I saw them was Seattle in 2007. Turned up at a hostel and found out they were playing around the corner three hours later

That would have been a nice surprise. Will miss them in a few weeks but would be interested to see how their latest album comes across live.

Suicide - Cheree

Suicide - Frankie Teardrop

Protomartyr were excellent in Cork last night.

They play Limerick tonight and Dublin tomorrow.

The frontman looks like a mix of an English teacher and a rural Fianna Fail backbencher. They also have a fifth member for touring, which is none other than Kelley Deal, who is looking much younger than 60 and is also one for the people who lost a hape of weight thread

Brilliant show tonight mate

I see poor Nick Cave has lost a second child. Was due to play in Waterford for All together now

A proper messed up young fella by the sounds of it. Not sure Cave had much dealings with him, especially early on anyway

I never knew that Cave’s earlier son to pass away had taken acid before he fell off the cliff.

15 yeas of age FFS sake.

That lad’s twin brother was very good in this film

The mythical “lost” 5th album by Krautrockers Faust has been released as Punkt on the Bureau B label. I listened to it last night. It is very good indeed.

Listening to my Tangerine Dream records tonight. Rubycon and Phaedra already listened to. Alpha Centauri to come.

Ricochet is the only one I have from them. Where should I go next?

In addition to the ones I have mentioned I like Stratosfear (this was the first Tangerine Dream record I ever owned) and Atem - the final track Wahn is my favourite TD track.
