I genuinely missed your conversion to being a full time wum,
It’s just a load of fast strong black lads doing all the work, with a white lad in the middle telling them where to run.
The physical attributes and technical skills for each position are precise and not very interchangeable. Rugby players could youd imagine make running backs and maybe safetys. Very hard to be an effective linebacker or corner unless you can recognize the plays and routes immediately. There are of course exceptional athletes playing rugby, islanders with their bone density and power would make excellent nfl players and more and more who grow up in the usa are making it. But the game is levels above rugby cerebrally, im sure you get this.
There’s also the fat lads who stop the fat lads on the other team from getting to the white lad in the middle
To kick the ball between the posts?
I don’t understand the discussion.
The fact is that rugby union and rugby league players well into their 20s have moved to the NFL having never played before and made active rosters.
Oh I’d be able to do that alright
You have not ended this debate. American football is so shit that people who have never played it before are now rocking up to professional teams. One person needs to be able to throw the ball, 3 or 4 need to be able to catch it and the other 85 just run into each other. It’s the worst sport in the world which is why it is only played in 1 country. Then you have a handful of oddballs who follow it in Ireland who spend half their time online denegrading another sport because it is unskilled and only popular in 15 or 20 countries.
You literally couldn’t make it up.
And the other half their time online playing and arguing about fantasy gridiron
Where to start with this. Without coaches, equipment, organization a game is not going to spontaneously start. Its a very expensive sport to play and very physically demanding. And there never was any interest in spreading it. If its shit and easy why don’t athletes all over the world play it. There’s money to be made.
You dont understand the sport (admitted as much), so you cant comment on it. You are trying to compare rugby to something you have no knowledge of and think you can make a definitive comparison. Im not sure you realise how ridiculous that sounds
No you dont understand. Im not trying to compare rugby to anything. I merely asked a question. If gridiron is so skilled why can big lads from other sports walk into pro set ups with no background in the game.
You’ve tied yourself up in knots defending gridiron as a result
It’s only played in one country because that’s the way the yanks want it mate you have no idea how ridiculous you sound defending tht shite.
No, you fired up a load of smiley faces (great argument) when i pointed out theres way more thought learning and tactics in nfl than rugby. You made a ridiculous comparison and were pulled up on it.
Ive already pointed out that they are opening up spots on training squads to international players, some are rugby players. Some arent. None have made it yet. Its an athletic game. Some players who played rugby and went through the college system played it. As of yet none have turned up straight off the rugby bus and into the nfl.
You’re losing it mate
Stop typing maroon.
You seem unable to debate this like an adult. You are a rugby man and are takingbthis personally.
He keeps banging on about some comparison iv made when he has just imagined it
Ok. I said nfl is more cerebral than rugby. You laughed at that comparison. Therefore suggesting you think it isnt. Theres your comparison.
