I don’t have a problem with the game itself but last night summed up my experience watching NFL.
The production quality of the videos beforehand, the size and modernity of the stadium, both teams having their own entrances, the anthems…it’s all so spectacular. I was literally pumped to watch it.
Then it kicks off and bores the arse off me

Most NFL games have lots of points these days. That game was an aberration.

The game has been spoiled by flag happy officials, admittedly enforcing the laws of the game to the letter of the law, there’s far too much scoring to be honest
Fair enough.
There’s no point in trying to convince someone to like something if they don’t, i just thought if it was scoring then that was the complete wrong game to judge it on!
All the boo- hoo about a not so great game … Many a World Cup - Champions League final etc.etc. are a pile of wank …
And unlike them, the vast majority of recent Super Bowls have been great. Very few shitting ones in the last 15 years.
